A New Year

3 min read

Happy New Year!

I'm now 69 years old, how did the time fly by so quickly?

I've discovered ai art and enjoy creating it. My favorite generator is Bing, by far the easiest to use with fantastic results. In my limited experience that is! Lol.  I also joined Night Cafe which is fun because of all the challenges and contests, and having a gallery of your work up. You are given credits every day and can buy or earn them as well. You can create without credits but then your choices of what settings to use are much more limited.  It's great to look through and comment/and or like other's work, and pick up prompts from those who share them. The challenge is to earn as many credits as you can, that's the fun of it!

She passed on to Heaven Nov. 24, 2018, at the age of 88. She loved Christmas and always decorated for this and other seasons. She was a Sunday School teacher, a carpenter, gardener, piano teacher, seamstress, a great cook who learned to make Armenian dishes like stuffed grapeleaves and pilaf for my Dad. I still remember her cakes from when I was a child, and she could whip together a meal in no time even during the last year or so. Always making trips to the hardware store for some repair or project or other, working on her Sunday School lessons for the adult group she still led up until a few months ago. Love you Mom.

Hard Times

3 min read
My Mom has been diagnosed with stage four caner and is in the hospital today. She will probably go into a rehab place to get stronger and then come home. Meanwhile my health is not very good either. Going to attempt dieting ONCE AGAIN! Has been an ongoing battle my whole life.

Not too long until Halloween, they put up decorations in the stores and have items for sale earlier and earlier every year. Even the pharmacy in the hospital was decorated. She is in Saint Jude which is a very good hospital. She actually was looking very good yesterday. We JUST ARE NOT equipted to take care of her when the side effects of the chemo get bad. And of course it is very stressful for everyone.

I love this journal skin. Somehow magical due to the lighting and colors etc.
